We call the teacher – Ha-morah (for female teachers, but male teachers are Ha-moreh)
We’re learning Hebrew – Ivrit Chadashah (New Hebrew)
Mah? is – What?
Mi? is – Who?
Shalom means “Hi, how do you do?”
Cain is – Yes
Lo is – No
It’s fun to sing the words we know.
Ayfo? means Where is it?
Better take a look.
Iparon is – Pencil.
And a sefer is a book.
Mah? is – What?
Mi? is – Who?
Shalom means “Hi, how do you do?”
Cain is – Yes
Lo is – No
It’s fun to sing the words we know.
Shulchan is a table.
Talmeedeem (students) can speak.
Writing on a Luach (chalkboard)
We use Geer (chalk) don’t let it squeak.
Mah? is – What?
Mi? is – Who?
