The blessing before counting the Omer
Baruch ata Adonai, Elohaeynu meleh ha-olam asher kid-shanu b’mitz-votav, v’tzivanu al s’frat ha-omer.
Praised are you, Lord our G-d, Ruler of the universe, who has taught us the way of holiness through the Mitzvot, and commanded us to count the Omer.
Announcing the Count
Ha-yom tish-a yamim, shehaym arba-a shavuot v’yom e-chad la-omer.
Today is twenty-nine days, which is four weeks and one day of the Omer.
